      What is it, the ten-thousand-hours rule to become an expert? I made so many paintings that I didn’t like and products that never sold. You have to go through that process and not look at them as failures, but instead look at all of it as taking steps to figure out what you really want to do. Very few times do things simply fall in your lap. You have to stay with it and ride through the ups and downs.
