It consists of four essays inspired by the work of Wilhelm Wundt and Carl Jung: “The Horror of Incest,” “Taboo and Emotional Ambivalence,” “Animism, Magic and the Omnipotence of Thoughts,” and “The Return of Totemism in Childhood.”
