Retrash is the result of a 3 year collaboration with 82 artists and designers from 20 countries around the world.

Retrash will inspire you with creative and innovative ideas on reusing second hand materials. The printed version of the book is a recycled piece of art itself as it is printed on 100% recycled paper.

Retrash represents a small part of the solution to our growing problem of waste, which is to reduce the demand for new materials by reusing existing materials. If we can reduce the amount of waste ending up in landfill and in our oceans, we can also reduce the need for sourcing new materials through deforestation and mining.

$2 from each book sale is donated between the Helen Bamber Foundation and FINCA.org as part of the author's life mission to help those in need. Foreword from the author:

«To all of you who have contributed such inspiring ideas, I thank you for making Retrash what it is today. This book has given me the opportunity to meet some of the most creative and generous individuals that I have ever met. It has been my passion for the last four years to promote recycling and upcycling innovations to the world and I look forward to continuing on this journey.

I truly believe that this book and the incredible people behind it can inspire us all to see waste differently by opening our minds to more creative and practical solutions. I hope you enjoy it.»

I work with recycled vintage linoleum because it is too beautiful to be discarded and it bears the scars and wear of lives spent walking on it. Linoleum was the ultimate interior medium, from Grandma’s kitchen to the corner drug store and neighborhood school. I have accumulated tons of it from abandoned houses, construction sites and dumpsters and through purchases and donations from people who would otherwise dispose of it.
