Someone went to great lengths to bring me here and make sure my arrival went undetected.

“Grayson will be back with the hunting party tonight.”

“It’s off the grid,” he sighed. “Where do you think CEOs and senators send their problem children when they need to get rid of them?”

“It’s like part of us is always here. In our spot.”

She takes both and sets them up on the little alcove under the upper bowl, hiding them in the niche there.

“You can have it,” I say.
