Her latest book, I Said Run (2024), is a psychological thriller. It follows Eve, a wealthy heiress who moves to a small town to live a peaceful life. Her happiness is shattered when she finds herself trapped in the home of a man named Jenkins. As Eve and another captive, Mira, plot their escape, they uncover shocking truths about their captor. The novel keeps readers guessing until the final revelation.
When asked which author she would like to have coffee with, she chose Stephen King. "Although if he agreed, I wouldn't be picky." If stranded on an island, she would take Moby Dick with her to keep her sanity.
Britney King lives in Austin, Texas, with her family, two dogs and a cat.
