Kerri Keberly

Kerri Keberly is an American author known for her Eros & Co. series, Fated & Cursed series, and the 12-book series Gods of Thunder MC. She writes historical fiction, romantic comedies, and fantasy novels.

Kerri has always been a storyteller. In third grade, she hid her glasses in the linen closet and claimed a ghost had stolen them. Despite the outcome of that story, she continued crafting tales with humor and heart.

She started her career as an advertising copywriter before becoming a full-time author. Reflecting on her journey, she humorously notes, "In a past life, I was an advertising copywriter. After that, I was an author. After that, I had to go back into therapy. True story."

The Fated & Cursed series showcases Kerri's ability to intertwine contemporary settings with mythological themes. The series begins with the story of Psyche, a mortal fated to die, and the god who'll do anything to save her. "Psyche was cursed, so it was only fitting the veil of her headdress be as black as the River Styx on her wedding day. Her husband was to be a winged beast. The Oracle of Delphi had foretold it. Most convenient, then, she was appropriately dressed for what would surely also be her funeral."

In another tale from the series, Hades, the god of the underworld, falls in love at first sight with Persephone, the goddess of spring. "Hades had grown accustomed to living in darkness. In fact, after ruling over it for so long, he preferred it, which was why he found it so curious he would be drawn to such light." This love story explores themes of duty, sacrifice, and the contrast between light and darkness.

The final story in the series, The Sorrow and the Sea, reimagines the myth of Poseidon and Amphitrite. "Amphitrite had never met an Olympian god or goddess before, let alone one so beguiling." This narrative delves into letting go of preconceived notions and finding true happiness.

Besides her love of folklore and mythology, she has a knack for making people laugh, which infuses her work with magic and wit.

In Michigan, Kerri Keberly lives with her husband and teenage son and enjoys fiber arts, crafts, gardening, and being a "granny girl."
