Laurel Snyder is a poet and author of picture books and novels for children, including Orphan Island, Bigger than a Bread Box, Seven Stories Up, and the Charlie and Mouse series. She is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and teaches in the creative writing programs at Hamline and Emory Universities.
